The Spirit & The Bride say, "Come!"

"No unbelief or distrust made him (Abraham) waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His Word, and to do what He had promised." (Romans 4:20,21 AMP)

How did Abraham receive the promise of Isaac? He grew strong and was empowered by faith - "AS" he gave praise and glory to God! Praise and worship caused Abraham to be fully satisfied and assured that God was ABLE and MIGHTY to keep His Word, and to do what He had promised.

"And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)." (I Thessalonians 5:23 AMP)

Lay hold of I Thessalonians 5:23 as your very own promise. Put on your garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Be steadfast as you daily meditate the above scripture, and water the seed of your promise with praise and glory to God; thanking Him that you will be found blameless at His coming. And you will become fully satisfied and assured that God is able and mighty to keep His Word and do that which He has promised for you.

"Father, be it unto me even as you have spoken, in Jesus Name."

Meet you in the air,

The Spirit & The Bride say, "Come!"

“Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise and voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord. At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.” (Ephesians 5:19, 20 AMP)

Faith has a voice – it is the voice of praise. It is speaking God’s Word into your situation with thanksgiving until the problem is turned.

Unbelief also has a voice – it is the voice of murmuring [faultfinding, grumbling and complaining). It is facing the dark areas of your life without God’s Word in your mouth. Romans chapter 11 explains how the Israelites were cut off in the wilderness because of their unbelief. (They murmured against His provisions and leadings). And He swore in His wrath that they would not enter into the Promised Land.

As you meditate the above scripture, remember that with an attitude of gratitude you create a glory filled atmosphere around yourself that not only protects you against the adversary, but causes you to draw the “goodness” of God into your life in greater measure. What you remember to thank God for is what He remembers to give you.

“Father, be it unto me even as You have spoken, in Jesus Name.”

Entering my Promised Land with thanksgiving,
Father’s Little Lamb,
Paulette

The Spirit & The Bride say, "Come!"

"And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we]continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another, [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. (II Corinthians 3:18 AMP)

As "unveiled face" means an open face with nothing obstructing your vision. "Beholding" is a steady, absorbing gaze. Not just a glance, but a continuous, steady gaze.

Two questions we must ask ourselves:
1) Is something obstructing my vision?
2) Am I glancing or gazing?

Mark 4:19 states, "Then the cares and anxieties of the world and distractions of the age, and the pleasure and delight and false glamour and deceitfulness of riches, and the craving and passionate desire for other things creep in and choke and suffocate the Word, and it becomes fruitless."

The things mentioned in the above scripture are tactics that have served Satan well to obstruct your vision. Remember that God inhabits the prasises of His people and in the Presence of the Lord there is joy for evermore. Guard your heart by refusing to exchange your "garment of praise" for the spirit of heaviness. The joy of the Lord is your strength. If Satan cannot steal your joy, he cannot take the Word of God from your heart through the snares mentioned in Mark 4:19.

As for "glancing or gazing", Mark 4:24 AMP says, "And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure of [virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you - and more [besides] will be given to you who hear."

As you look into the mirror of the Word of God, with a continuous absorbing gaze, and hear yourself reading the Word, you will experience the transfiguring power of God in your life and be changed from glory to glory. You not only become what you behold, but "faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." It is spiritual law. If your eyes (and ears) are on things of the flesh you will reap corruption. Likewise, if your eyes (and ears) are on things of the Spirit, you will reap life.

"Father, be it unto me even as you have spoken. in Jesus Name."

The Spirit & The Bride say, "Come!"

“But God – so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us. Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ. [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy that you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ salvation).” (Ephesians 2:4, 5 AMP)

He “made” us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ because of His rich mercy wherewith He loved us. And with the very same resurrection power of the Holy Spirit that He used to quicken Jesus from the dead – He has quickened us also and made us “alive”.

It’s all in the view! How do you view yourself? Still living in your shortcomings and trespasses, or delivered from judgment and made a partaker of Christ salvation?

As you meditate on the above scripture, begin to thank Him that His resurrection power is quickening and making alive your mortal body. Thank Him that you are delivered from judgment and are a partaker of Jesus salvation.

“Father, be it unto me, even as you have spoken, in Jesus Name.”

Quickened and Alive,
Father’s Little Lamb,
Paulette

The Spirit & The Bride say, "Come!"“For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue)…By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.”
(II Peter 1:3, 4 AMP)

Trying to unwind from the day by escaping “life as you know it” for just a few hours, do you ever find yourself lost in mindless TV programs or movies – sinking into a make believe world that at the moment seems more pleasurable and exciting than the life you are experiencing?

If you can identify with that attitude, do you ever hear the gentle calling of the Holy Spirit encouraging you to come spend time with Him in prayer and to read your Bible – right in the middle of your “escape”?

I have. More times than not, I have either ignored Him and acted like I didn’t hear Him or said, “It is almost over, I will as soon as this goes off.” And sorry to say, by then I cannot seem to find the grace to even pick up my Bible, much less pray.

The sad thing is – no matter what we use as our escape, it is a poor substitute for God’s comfort and refreshing. It is only momentary with no lasting value. The greatest escape [by flight] that we can have is through His precious and exceedingly great promises found in His Word.

The stroke of midnight is closer than we think. Not only do our lamps need to be filled with oil, but we need extra – just in case Jesus should tarry. As you meditate the above scripture; purpose in your heart to find your “escape” in Him. We only pass this way once while we are on this earth. This “moment in time” as we know it will never be again in all eternity. In the face of our adversary, it gives our Father much respect and honor when we seek His Face alone to be our “all in all”.

If we let go of the fleshly escape mechanisms that this world offers and take hold of His “spiritual escape” through His precious exceedingly great promises in the Word, we will experience His divine nature in this earth; and truly enjoy living life to the fullest in His resurrection power that will lift us up above the moral decay and rottenness that is in this world.

If your life is falling short of what you had envisioned, cut off the things of this world and “…seek [aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” (Matthew 6:33 AMP)

“Father, be it unto me even as you have spoken, in Jesus Name.”

Seeking first His kingdom.
Father’s little lamb,
Paulette

The Spirit & The Bride say, "Come!"

“The: Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy, He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention {of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17 AMP)

“How Do I Love Thee?”

“Let me count the ways…I love how You touch my heart and give me songs of love, that I might express myself to You…I love how You comfort me – lifting me above the worries and cares in my life…I love how You surround me with Your Spirit and chase away loneliness and wipe away my tears, making it ok in my heart that no one is around…In fact I love that I am learning to enjoy the quiet times of intimacy with You…I love You because You chose me to be your bride…I love You because You chose to be my Beloved Ishi, my Husband…I love You because You are so patient with me…I love You because You know my heart better than I know myself…And yet, You still love me…I love You because I can lay my heart in Your Hands with utmost confidence that You will show me tenderness and mercy…I love how You tend the garden of my heart…You water me, and gently prune me that I might yield more fruit…I love Your precious Blood that cleanses me from all my guilt and sins…I love how being in Your Presence is changing my comeliness, I am becoming more beautiful from the inside out…I love how You have extended Your royal scepter to me and received me to sit at Your right hand. I love how You have taken all that is Yours and given it to me…I love how You didn’t just give me up to half Your Kingdom…You gave me all of Your Kingdom and Your Spirit without reservation…I love You because You took my place at Calvary and died for me…I love how You guard and protect me with a jealous love…I love how You think of me as the apple of Your eye, a garden for Your pleasure, and a rare and fragrant perfume…I love that You exult over me with singing…I love how You will transfigure me in the twinkling of an eye when You return for me…I love that You are my King…May I always pleasure Your heart as much as You have pleasured mine.”

Lovingly,
Your Little Lamb,
Paulette

“I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration] forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.” (Philippians 3:13, 14 AMP)

The Spirit & the Bride say, "Come!"

"Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you - arise to new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your Light has come, and the glory of the Lord has rise upon you!" (Zech.8:23 AMP)

We still have a little time to make sure our lamps are filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit, and our wicks are trimmed by cutting off the sin that doth so easily beset us, our wedding garments are without spot or wrinkle by the washing of the water of the Word of God, and that we have the sweet perfumed aroma of the fruit of the spirit in our lives to over come the stench of the flesh in God's nostrils.

In Zechariah 8:23 the word "arise" is actually a command from God to "come up higher!" Following the simplicity of a young girl named Mary, may we respond as she did by saying, "Be it unto me, even as You have spoken."

His Glory has risen upon me,
Father's Little Lamb,
Paulette
